This two part series focuses on the “mindset” change of working with individuals who engage in challenging behaviors. This training begins by focusing on the functions of behavior, ABCs of behavior, and continues with developing skills to critically analyzing different scenarios to identify how to identify the “why” of challenging behaviors.
This 1 part training generalizes many common ABA procedures and practices that can be utilized to support positive behaviors for a variety of learners. This two part series focuses on de-escalation strategies for children who engage in maladaptive behaviors that may cause harm to themselves or others. Part 1 of this training focuses on identifying when an individual is escalating, strategies to support you and the child during escalation, and follow-through afterwards. Part 2 includes a Handle with Care certification with a certified Handle with Care Trainer!
This 1 part training series addresses sensory needs and strategies to support sensory needs. This presentation is conducted with a BCBA and Occupational Therapist. Learn how to identify sensory needs, strategies to support sensory needs, and ways to implement this ethically and successfully!
